Growth Scrum allows businesses of any size to create continuous and rapid process of data-driven experimentation.

The more frequent experiments you do, the faster you find the hypothesis that actually builds your growth. Out of numerous experiments that our customers ran, we can see that only about 20% of all hypotheses make a difference for product.

However, these 20% allowed them to crack key funnel metrics in the AAARRR funnel as early as

on the 2nd month and get to growth between 30% to 300% in the next 6-7 months.

Who can benefit?
Operational businesses
We recommend implementing Growth Scrum if you have more than 1,000 active users of a product per month and you're still testing less than 5 growth hypotheses per week.
Product teams
Our benchmark demonstrates that Growth Scrum helped to focus only on 25% features that outperformed the rest of the backlog.
Marketing teams
Growth Scrum framework allows you to validate the key values of the product which usually reduces the customer acquisition cost (CAC) by 1.5x-3x.
Startups
The Growth Scrum framework helps to discover high conversion value propositions in a matter of weeks, and find the Aha-moment of the product. Growth Scrum reduces the cost of product-market fit discovery by 5-10 times.

Growth Scrum framework is specifically designed to launch and scale Growth Teams. Its principles and life-cycle are similar to the usual Scrum. The key difference is that the goal of the sprint in Growth Scrum is not the ready-to-use increment, but the resulting user reaction to the minimum possible change (in experiment or hypothesis launch) within the product funnel.

The recommended size of the Growth Team is 2 to 4 members with allocation from 50% to 100% FTE. The Team's mission is to create new AAARRR funnels or optimize an existing one.

Head of Sales (Americas region) at iSandBOX
JTBD workshop helped to look at all the information that we got from our partners and customers from another side and systematize this knowledge. Earlier, we have tried CustDev many times but we always had the impression that it’s lacking. Once we tried the JTBD interview, we managed to receive much more insights.

We have a range of well-performing, well-made products. But, unfortunately, they did not show strong significant growth, as we would like. Therefore, we decided to conduct an in-depth study of the motivation of our users. Find out why they come to our product. Understand how we can best communicate the value of our product. To do this, we asked to conduct a Jobs To Be Done study in GrowthScrum. As a result of the study, we received a lot of insights and more than 100 hypotheses based on these insights. GrowthScrum then launched a growth team for us. Metrics increased by 70%. If your company has questions about how to develop your product and grow fast, then GrowthScrum is definitely the right tool for you, just what you need”

Growth Hacking Lead, VEON
Growth Hacking and Jobs To Be Done changed everything. We began to run really fast. We stopped hallucinating about our customers’ needs and began to get their real needs right from their heads. We stopped spending a lot of money on non-converting complaints and began to perform hundreds of experiments to find out what really converted.
We stopped spending months and even years on launching useless products and began to compose and test them very quickly. If this or that doesn’t work, when something goes wrong we send this information to the product owners so they don’t waste time and money for it.
